Valuation Masterclass

This course aims to educate participants on M&A procedure to gain knowledge regarding the execution of M&A transactions. The masterclass is divided into two different sessions, A Peek through the M&A Process which focuses on the qualitative side brought by Mr Iswan Kosasih, of PT Astra International Tbk. and The Ultimate Guide to Synergy Valuation which emphasize the quantitative side of an M&A valuation led by Kevin Gabriel, FMVA an investment banker at BNI sekuritas.

Competition Day 1

Begins with an opening remark by our Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Dr. Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, BBA., MBA, the first day was then followed by the introduction of the Top 10 teams and continued with the opening speech by the Director of Undergraduate Program of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya. Following the opening speech, M&A Talk sessions with the theme Embracing the Post-Pandemic M&A Deals were led by Mr Oki Ramadhana and Mr Christian Sugiarto, moderated by Mr Gifary Yusuf which aims to create awareness regarding the M&A outlook in this post-pandemic situation. Towards the end of the event, before the participants were given the final case that had to be completed and presented on the third day a mingling session was held to promote networking among the participants.

Competition Day 2

On the second day, the top 10 participants were given the opportunity to consult and improve their analysis before their final presentation. The participants was split into 3 groups with three different coaches, Mr. Ben Wee, Ms Josephine Soh and Mr. Melvin Lim

Competition Day 3

The top 10 finalists will present their final analysis in front of judges. This event was done in two sessions with five teams in each round. There was a Q&A session after the presentation. The judges, Mr Andi Purba, Mr. Harold Tjiptadjaja, Mr. Marvin Camangeg, and Mr Yanuar Tedja Widjaja provide the score of the presentation and final paper and select the winner based on them

Competition Day 4

The Closing Ceremony of IIBC 2022 began with a Networking with Practitioners session where participants could dig deep regarding the investment banking, private equity and management consulting sector. This was then continued by closing remarks from Mrs. Aulia Nurul Huda, MBA which discusses the companies’ strategy in the digitalized era that focuses on ESG factors to promote future economic growth. Lastly, following this is the long awaited awarding ceremony for the winners of IIBC 2021
