Be a Succesful Investment Banker

DAY 1
Participants will attend the M&A talk that provides them with the most accurate and recent insights about the M&A outlook. Participants also could socialize with practitioners and fulfill their curiosity about how to start a career in the IB industry. At the end of the competition day, participants will be distributed the final case

DAY 2
The participants will have the chance to present their analysis to the coaches and get the opportunity improve their findings before they present it to the judges the following day

DAY 3
On the third day, the top 10 finalist will present their final analysis in front of the judges. Afterwards, the judges will ask several questions regarding the finalists presentation.

DAY 4
The participants journey will be completed with a Networking Session with peers to expand their connection on this last day. The long awaited sessions which are the winner announcement of IIBC and closing ceremony will also be held during this day.

Event Details
Requirements
- IIBC 2023 is fully held in English. All submitted papers and presentations must be written in formal English.
- Each team must consists of 2-3 active undergraduate students from the same university (different majors are allowed).
- Each university can send more than one team with different members.
- Registered participants may not represent in another team and cannot be replaced.
- Participants must be active undergraduate students until the announcement of the winner during the event closing day.
- Last year’s first place winners are not allowed to join this year’s competition.
- Participants must not be past and/or current employees in firms whose its activity is highly correlated to asset management, investment banking, and regulatory organizations. However, past and/or current interns in such firms are allowed.
- The IIBC Board of Executives, Competition Division committee, Finance and Investment Society (FIS) Board of Executives from the previous period, and current IIBC committee members are not allowed to join IIBC as participants.
Rules & Regulations
- The submitted paper must have never been submitted in other competitions. Those who commit plagiarism will automatically be disqualified.
- During the finals, each team member must ensure a stable connection throughout the event.
- Participants are required to attend the entire session of IIBC 2023 and must be on time. Any member who cannot participate in any event must report to the committee at least 1x24 hours beforehand and be approved by the committee or the entire team will be disqualified.
- Each team will be charged a registration fee of Rp250.000,00/team (domestic) or USD 25/team (international) for early bird registration, and Rp350.000,00/team (domestic) or USD 35/team (international) for normal registration. Registration fee is based on your campus location, not nationality.
- The payment must be transferred to Bank Central Asia (BCA) under the name of Yay Prasetiya Mulya, account number: 0063212021 (Swift Code: CENAIDJA). The proof of payment also must be uploaded to the registration form.
- For international team payment, participants must pay in USD and are not allowed to convert them to IDR manually.
- Any mistakes while transferring the registration fee will not be tolerated. Please make sure that you have included the correct information and nominal.
